Prior to becoming certificated in March of 2021, Patrick had a wealth of industry- and profession-oriented skills and experience. He graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in 2014 with a B.S. in Marine and Environmental Sciences and spent the next two years aboard USCGC RESOLUTE as a student engineer. During this time he certified spaces safe for entry and hot work, amongst a multitude of other tasks and responsibilities. For the next three years, he served as a USCG Port Engineer and continues to serve now as Division Officer of Sector Jacksonville in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve.
